Engine Immobilizer APIs

Engine Immobilizer APIs allow you to immobilize or mobilize a vehicle and retrieve the current engine immobilizer status.

This overview covers the Engine Immobilizer endpoints.

Activate a vehicle's engine immobilizer

• Endpoint: POST /v1/engine_immobilizers/{vehicle_id}/activate
• Description: Enables the vehicle's engine immobilizer.
• Use Case: Prevent a vehicle from starting or moving when an immobilization command is required.

Deactivate a vehicle's engine immobilizer

• Endpoint: POST /v1/engine_immobilizers/{vehicle_id}/deactivate
• Description: Disables the vehicle's engine immobilizer.
• Use Case: Restore the vehicle's ability to mobilize after an immobilization command.

Fetch engine immobilizer status

• Endpoint: GET /v1/engine_immobilizers/{vehicle_id}/status
• Description: Returns the read-only status of the vehicle's engine immobilizer.
• Use Case: Check the installation status, connection status, mobility status, and most recent immobilizer command.
